Sammy's kitchen and field knives were not that bad in the sharp department, the issue BIG issue was the condition of the blades and handles. The knives had lots and lots of oil, dust, and dirt on them.

Mike's knives were in pretty bad shape, to say they were not sharp would be giving them justice. You could play with them, and not get cut, is how sharp they were.
