Shimano Bantam Curado

Shimano and sand does not go well together. Zach’s baitcast had sand and dirt in in all the wrong places. To be such a closed system, this particular model had a few open areas that let the dirt in. Fortunately, nothing was damaged, however, the amount and type of dirt caused the reel to get out of tune. All parts were hand cleaned, sterilized, lubricated, and polished to Bass fish another day. After re-tuning, all working parts were synchronized to factory pound test line.
