Quantum Leap

Zachary brought SharpReel two very nice Quantum fishing reels, one spinning Quantum and one baitcasting Quantum. The Quantum Genesis spinning fishing reel had several issues, however, two parts had to be refurbished due to replacement parts not being found. The anti-reverse bearings were worn and had to be reworked. The cam bearing and main gear clutch showed signs of wear, but worked smoothly after applying reel grease. The entire reel was repaired, lubricated, and polished. The Quantum baitcast fishing reel’s pinion gear springs were replaced, as well as cleaning and adjusting the spool magnets. The catch pin spring and two drag washers had to be replaced. The reel was properly lubricated, polished, and fine tuned to fish again another day!
