We received a set of three hunting knives that were in rough shape. Each one had a particular problem with tarnished blades and dirty handles. After careful inspection each one required thorough cleaning on lockback springs and housing. Aside from being extremely dirty each knife would not cut hot butter. The results were completely refurbished blades, handles and housing. It was also a new blade material to be presented to SharpReel, 154CM (Crucible Materials), which has 20% or so chromium causing the blade to be tarnished.
